SMS Chromebook and Schedule Pick up

Chromebook and schedule pick up for Middle school students will be August 18th and 19th from 7am-10 am and 4 pm- 7 pm behind the Middle school.
* In order to pick up a chromebook or schedule parents must have completed an online registration for their Middle school student. There will be someone on-site to help you complete this task if needed.

Yearbook Order for 2019-20 School Year

Yes! There will be yearbooks for 2019 - 2020 -- we are including coverage of both normal school and distance learning. To purchase, please go to and search for Shepherd High School or Shepherd MIddle School (for the PreK - 8th grade book). Make sure you get the correct town and just follow the online directions to purchase! As usual, the books will be delivered in the fall when we start school back up.

GT Nomination Announcement 2020

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students, Shepherd ISD will begin taking nominations for kindergarten and newly-enrolled students in grades 1-12 for gifted and talented screening. Effective February 1, anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may nominate them for assessment. Nomination forms are available at each campus. The forms must be returned to the front office by February 28, 2020. For more information about the screening and identification process, parents may contact the school’s counselor.
