Assistant Principal

I am so excited to be starting my second year as Assistant Principal at SMS this year!  Last year was awesome so I know this year will be even better!

 

I love getting to know the students so I wanted to let you know a little about me.  I am married and have 4 children:  Trent, Mateo, Madeline, and Elijah.  I also have 3 dogs named Bailey, Scarlett, Arya, several granddogs, and one grandcat.  My personal time is spent with my family, reading, studying, or swimming.

 

Professionally, I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's in Educational Leadership.  I am also currently working on my doctorate in Educational Leadership.  I was a teacher for seven years and an instructional coach for 6 before moving into my current role as an AP.  I have worked in Goose Creek CISD and Humble ISD before moving to Shepherd.
