Students in Ms. Wheeler’s class are learning about Asian culture. Today they learned about Chinese New Year and made their very own red envelopes with an affirmation written inside and then given to a random classmate!

SMS students explored the art of Michelangelo and his contributions to the Italian Renaissance! They also learned about the term “bust”—a sculpture of a person from the chest up—and put their creativity to the test by sculpting their own busts of a person or animated character of their choice.
